Organisations raced to appoint DEI leaders in the wake of the murder of George Floyd in the US and the global #metoo movement, and they invested significantly in DEI resources and initiatives. Today, things are looking a little different. In this episode we explore whether DEI has ‘had its day’, how DEI functions and resources are evolving now, and what DEI might look like in the future.

When I was younger, I used to think that if I just work hard, if I just be the best I could be, I could achieve anything. Well, hard work alone does not necessarily lead to equal opportunities.
Our common bond is our humanity. If we can't tap into that with empathy, then what is left of our society? What is left of our world and workplaces?
Without people, you don't have a business. Without the right people, you don't have a successful business. And that’s where DE&I plays a huge role.
