Where there's safety, colleagues will feel heard. They will feel that if things aren't right, they can actually say that things aren't right.
It doesn't need to be an excuse. So it doesn't need to be because I have children in my life or because I have people to care for in my life. The person to care for is yourself.
Quite often there's systemic behaviours and systemic cultures that don't lead to good wellbeing.
